The Assistant RDQ Manager role is a significant role in the organization, which requires experience in product development as well as technical and quality management skills to deliver the agreed projects and the legal compliance of the respective product portfolio.
The Assistant RDQ Manager is typically based at the Market Unit (MU) or at a site in the region. The purpose of this regional function is to take responsibility for projects and activities in the RDQ programme, Quality & R&D, associated development and marketing of products.
The Assistant RDQ Manager manages projects in the local pipeline of innovation, renovation and fuel for growth. To develop the pipeline the Assistant RDQ Manager partners with the MU Marketing members in project teams, with support from the RDQ Manager in the MU or the Regional Product Development Manager. As a valued business partner to the Heads of Category, the Procurement Finance Manager is a member of the Group Supply Chain Finance team working to provide a stewardship mindset, transparency, challenge and integrity to commercial buying decisions to generate value for Nomad. Involved in setting the commercial buying and productivity strategy along with the approach to supplier relationships and agreements.
More specifically the role is responsible for the analysis of Nomad’s spend versus budget or forecast as well as providing management with guidance on future outcomes, working with buyers to deliver a robust budget, forecast and productivity pipeline of future cost saving opportunities.
