This is an opportunity to join the Group Legal Team at Nomad Foods which is a fast paced in house FMCG legal team supporting the global business of Nomad Foods and its portfolio of European frozen food brands, including Birds Eye, Findus, iglo, Goodfellas, Aunt Bessie’s, Ledo and Frikom.  The successful candidate will provide expert FMCG legal advice to key stakeholders within the Nomad Foods business with the purpose of driving business growth and also ensuring that governance and compliance programs protect the business at all times.   The role will include working under the strategic direction of Senior Legal Counsel to advise and provide solutions and documentation for a number of functions within the business.  The role encapsulates all elements of FMCG legal work, including; - advising on and producing supply chain and procurement contracts; - advising on contractual and commercial relationships with retailers; - advising marketing teams on attitudes to risk, media contracts and marketing and advertising claims; - supporting governance and compliance programs; - providing general commercial legal advice, to include competition law and IP, and - as required, providing deal support to M&A transactions. This role would suit a person with a curious and flexible mindset, who is commercially savvy and willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into anything and everything, working closely with experienced in-house FMCG lawyers and experts in risk. As a result, the successful candidate can expect to develop quickly and over time mature as an engaged commercial business partner as well as a highly regarded legal specialist.   The successful candidate would be joining a highly regarding team which won Nomad Foods’ Group Function of the Year in 2021 and was also shortlisted for The Lawyer’s European Team of the Year Award in the same year.
