Overview

The Commercial Analytics team provides the analytics and Insight for all things shopper and customer, enabling the RGM, Category Development and Sales teams to make better business decisions.

 

This role is responsible for Nomad’s Shopper & RGM research agenda, working closely with the Consumer Insight team and Global/Regional Category Development and RGM teams.

 

The individual acts as a catalyst for insight-led growth by combining deep analytical expertise with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business action.

Responsibilities

Embed Customer & Shopper-Led Decision Making

Enable the business to more effectively leverage existing data, insights, and knowledge, ensuring customer and shopper perspectives are consistently at the heart of commercial decisions. Drive clarity, accessibility, and adoption of insights across teams

 

Lead High-Impact Shopper & RGM Research

Lead end-to-end delivery of ad hoc shopper and RGM research—shaping key business questions, prioritising initiatives, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Partner closely with RGM and Category teams across markets, ensuring insights are scaled and embedded to drive broader business impact.

 

Evolve Insight & Research Capabilities

Continuously enhance and refine research approaches to improve efficiency, realism, and engagement. Introduce new methodologies where appropriate, ensuring insight generation keeps pace with evolving business needs and delivers maximum commercial value.

 

Accountabilities / Metrics

  • Ensuring the business has the insight required to better serve the shopper & customer
  • GP impact of research interventions

Qualifications

Essential

  • Wholistic understanding of Commercial operations within FMCG businesses
  • Anchors insights requirement back to the key business question(s) and is able to identify the right research approach
  • Able to interpret and generate integrated strategic insights from a complex data sets
  • Able to simply communicate complex analytics
  • Influence people to take action based on Insight

Desirable 

  • Understands the key drivers of the P&L
  • RGM insights & analytics experience
  • Experience transforming ways of working
