Overview

This role will be a key part of the Elevate Transformation programme, which is a multi-year programme of business-led transformation initiatives designed to drive operational excellence.

 

The programme is designed to optimise foundational processes, reduce operational risk and drive efficiency gains across all Finance teams and the wider Nomad organisation.

 

The O2C Subject Matter Expert (SME) role sits as part of the Shared Finance Centre Workstream which comprises of the key Financial process areas FR&C, Cash Management, PTP and OTC.  This Workstream is led by Vicky Edge, Director of the Shared Finance Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical SME for OTC processes (Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Claims, Deductions, Credit & Collections)
  • Lead the design and delivery of OTC system enhancements within SAP and connected systems
  • Translate business improvement needs into clear technical and functional requirements
  • Support configuration changes, testing cycles, defect resolution, and deployment activities
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP SD and OTC best practices to ensure stable and standardised processes
  • Manage integrations with EDI partners, logistics providers, and customer platforms for improved data flow
  • Partner closely with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure alignment of OTC improvements
  • Promote standardisation and reduce unnecessary customisation across markets
  • Contribute to data quality improvements, especially in customer master and pricing data
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation within the OTC cycle
  • Support documentation, change control, and governance processes to ensure robust and compliant delivery
