Overview

PURPOSE & IMPACT: As the UK Presentation Chef you will be the face of Birds Eye when it comes to culinary expertise, exciting our customers. Showcasing our products through Brand Planning days and customer events designed to engage and put food first. Working closely with colleagues across all functions of Birds Eye but especially Sales, Marketing and RDQ, you will support with the delivery of social food creative for media channels and lead a culinary agenda with the sales team, embedding our ‘We Love our Food’ value

Responsibilities

  • To be the key interface of our food with our UK retail customers through regular customer sell ins, engagement and Brand days
  • Lead a Food First agenda internally, and build confidence, trust and pride in our products
  • Deliver inspiring product showcases/ recipes across all internal and external engagements
  • Provide culinary leadership in the UK market – ensure Nomad Foods is the go to for our customers needing support in this area
  • Build strong network across Sales, Marketing & RDQ to support and input knowledge on trends.
  • Support the delivery of social food creative for our media channels and customers
  • Be an ambassador for the company Nutrition policy
  • Understand key drivers of liking across our product ranges and develop recipes that provide consumer satisfaction within cost constraints and Nomad Foods policies
  • Champion Foodie Culture and Knowledge of Food Trends throughout the UK Business
  • Ensure conformity to Nomad Foods Europe WOW – e.g., cooking instructions, nutrition calculation etc.
  • Share best practise with the Nomad Foods Culinary team

Qualifications

  • High level culinary qualification
  • High quality restaurant experience
  • Experience within food & drink FMCG
  • Social Media Competencies and Digital Content Creation
  • Food raw material understanding
  • Nutrition understanding and application in recipe development
  • Local culinary trends
