PURPOSE & IMPACT: Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager: Ireland, this role plays a pivotal part in activating the UK&I marketing plans in the Irish market. The role will be responsible for delivering in line with the 3 year growth strategy and have a broad remit and responsibilities within respective segment(s).
An experienced commercially minded marketeer with a passion for food, our brands and consumers, this individual is accountable for having a ‘making things happen’ mindset and is able to work collaboratively across multiple locations, stakeholder and priorities to support the delivery of our marketing plans in Ireland.
A proven ability to support a wide portfolio, with the resilience and adaptability to deliver in market will be key.
Utilising data and insights whilst using a curious mindset to ask questions. Driving through to successful outcomes and opportunities through collaboration with stakeholders to deliver the Irish execution plan.
Having the empathy and curiosity towards consumers learn to anticipate, solve and stay relevant to their common macro needs and desires, working with the wider team to be collectively learning and testing great ideas.
Commercial Strategy Execution
Supports the local commercial plan to deliver the marketing strategies in the Irish market
Act at pace and demonstrate the drive and energy to deliver projects on time and to expected quality. Keeping things simple to act fast is important, so it is critical that issues are quickly identified and solutions identified. In line with this, supports the analysis of commercial plan performance across the Flywheel

Understand performance as a part of the flywheel process to inform strategy for UK&I and working with the UK&I team to build knowledge & innovation. Challenge the status quo, seeking and implementing new learnings to continuously improve business performance and share best practice across the UK&I cluster
Understand commercial data and able to support translation into growth plans
Develop and deliver 360 degree brand activation plans, working in close collaboration with cross functional and cross-market stakeholders, leveraging cluster assets and working within brand guidelines. Implements local shopper activation plans to support brand campaigns
Supports collation of first class trade presentation materials & data to bring to life our brand and innovation plans with our customers, so we can win with our retailers
Assists the implementation of appropriate channel solutions across our portfolio to maximise relevant growth opportunities
Brand Management
Understand the category vision and how its key drivers are the basis for cluster, segment & brand growth
Understands the practical application & principles of portfolio management and space & place to be able to support the Cluster to identify opportunities for NPD within market
Support the execution of brand blueprints and assets in line with strategic objectives to deliver the marketing plans
Lead innovation and renovation work streams, working in a cross functional team
Where required, support the management of media choices that align with and deliver the commercial plan for the local brand, feeding into the key performance and commercial KPIs
Sustainability & Reputation
Understand & when required, support the implementation of the commercialisation plan for Sustainability across brand, customer, shopper and food. Supports the strong external relationship and networks with relevant industry bodies and associations. Has knowledge of organisational ownership of local regulatory requirements relating to products, claims and communication, ensuring we manage reputation for Nomad Foods and relevant brands in markets
Cross-functional and Global/Local partnerships
Working in global/ local structure, there will be collaboration team player mindset with an ability to challenge to deliver the Cluster agenda through a matrix organisation, and work with marketing colleagues to deliver executions that will continue to drive the growth of the market/ segment. Builds trust and creates the conditions to enables all partnerships to deliver strong performance and work together effectively. Understanding of the basic principles of RGM PPA/ Price/ Promo and understand how the levers can work to support both innovation and renovation
Financial Delivery
Supporting with data and insights to ensure the cluster remains within cluster marketing budget that falls in line with plan. Knowledge of the financial performance, and working to maintain positive financial performance in line with financial expectations & targets. Support tracking of our non-working A&P budget to support the portfolio team track and manage effectively
