Overview

PURPOSE & IMPACT:

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team plays a central strategic role within Nomad, focused on driving long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth. Our mission is to create balanced growth plans by applying insight-led analytics across key commercial levers: Pricing, Pack Price Portfolio (PPP), Trade Promotions, Mix, and Trade Terms.

Through this approach, RGM supports the business in growing Net Sales per Kilogram (NS/KG), expanding the overall profit pool, and increasing our share of it. By combining commercial expertise with deep analytical capability, the team helps shape strategies that deliver both top-line and bottom-line impact.

We’re seeking a proactive, driven and passionate individual with an analytical background and experience from working cross-functionally in an FMCG matrix organisation. The ideal candidate will have proven track record of success in RGM with a strong understanding of cross-functional areas such as sales, marketing, finance and category.  We also welcome applicants from other highly commercial FMCG roles who are eager to broaden their skillset by moving into this exciting yet challenging area. Candidates should be able to demonstrate close collaboration with RGM functions, a deep understanding of the key RGM theories and possess the capabilities and skillset required to succeed.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker who can translate complex internal and external data into actionable insight, solutions and executable plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of the P&L and the key drivers behind it, in order to positively influence commercial outcomes. No two days are the same, a self-starter with the ability to use initiative and intuition to problem-solve and make key commercial recommendations is vital.  Finally, the successful candidate will need to build strong, collaborative relationships with cross functional stakeholders, and will need to be confident in both challenging and influencing effectively.

Responsibilities

The RGM Manager will be a key part of the team managing a high value MWB (Must Win Battle) and key retail customers, focused on maximising revenue growth through disciplined analytics across key commercial levers—most notably pricing, promotions, pack price architecture, portfolio mix strategy and trade terms. This role works cross-functionally to develop and implement operational RGM plans and initiatives that align with business, brand, trade partner, and shopper objectives.

This role will also support the regular reporting, maintenance and development of the RGM Reporting Suite, a key enabler for the UK RGM team to generate the insight to make commercial recommendations.

RGM Plan Creation

The RGM Manager will lead the development of balanced and sustainable Revenue Growth Management plans across all key levers - Pricing, Promotions, Pack Price Architecture (PPA), Mix, and Trade Terms—within their MWB responsibilities. These plans will be designed to deliver against business, brand, trade partner, and shopper objectives and targets, ensuring alignment across commercial priorities.

The key responsibilities for each MWB by RGM lever are:

Pricing

Develop a clearly defined pricing strategy, including optimal price plans informed by deep analysis of price elasticity, pricing curves, ladders, and consumer willingness to pay. Build annual pricing recommendations that reflect both internal cost pressures and external consumer insights.

Promotional Optimisation

Establish annual promotional guidelines and refresh them quarterly in response to evolving commercial and market conditions, supported by post-event evaluation insights. Lead promotional review forums and governance processes across the business, driving continuous learning and improvement. Evaluate key promotions by MWB and share insights to enhance effectiveness and ROI with the respective cross functional teams.

Pack Strategy

Define a clear pack strategy aligned with shopper behaviour, retailer priorities, and SKU profitability. Focus on optimising pack architecture to deliver value for shoppers, retailers, and the business.

Mix Management

Identify and execute opportunities to drive a favourable portfolio mix strategy across the portfolio aligned to the objectives of the MWB or key retail customer.

Trade Terms

Ensure customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) are aligned with strategic priorities, growth drivers, and key commercial bets.  Influence a favourable outcome to maximise ROI from trade terms investment to drive value to the category and ultimately the P&L.

RGM Plan Activation, Tracking & Course Correction

This role is responsible for translating the RGM plan by MWB into in-year actions, ensuring clear activation across the business through sound commercial and RGM principles. Success will depend on strong collaboration with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, Demand Planning and Insights—to drive execution and embed continuous learning.

The RGM Manager will lead performance tracking and post-evaluation of RGM initiatives, identifying opportunities for course correction and improvement. Change proposals will need to be shaped, aligned, and communicated effectively across stakeholders and key forums (e.g., CGTs), ensuring transparency and momentum behind the RGM agenda.

People Development

The RGM Manager will be part of a team with a breadth of skills and experience; there will be opportunities to support and coach within the team and help to upskill those outside within the cross functional teams with the understanding and competencies required to create the “RGM culture” within Birds Eye UK.

Qualifications

  • Operational, in-market experience in a dedicated RGM role within FMCG is highly desirable
  • Alternatively, candidates with a strong and highly commercial background with a desire to move into the RGM space who can demonstrate their experience and competency to succeed are encouraged to apply
  • Proven track record of leveraging insights and analytics to develop and implement effective RGM strategies
  • Experience within blue-chip FMCG organisations (Sales, Marketing, Finance) or strategic consulting environments
