We have an exciting opportunity available within our Brand Marketing team for you to grow your career and make a difference at Birds Eye!  A pivotal role in the Brand Marketing team, where you’ll be required to support the Brand Marketing Team in projects and key activities through a passion for food, our brands, and consumers. 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Cluster Brand Manager (SCBM), as the Junior Brand Manager, you’ll be required to support and lead on the flywheel process to ensure wins across the Must Win Battles (MWBs) for the Local Brands team.  You’ll be responsible for delivering in line with the 3 year growth strategy and owning key responsibilities within respective segments (Aunt Bessie’s and Goodfella’s).   Other responsibilities will include:

  • Cross functional team collaboration to achieve brand targets and goals.
  • Collating and sharing data/insights, whilst using a curious mindset to ask questions.
  • Manage activities on-time and to budget.
  • Monthly tracking of internal and external performance using various data sources
  • Launch EPD & NPD to drive brand growth and penetration
  • Lead projects through an internal stage gate process and gaining internal alignment with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

You’re a passionate marketing individual with an interest in the food industry and has previous experience of working in a similar role within FMCG.  You’re used to working in a demanding fast paced environment and handle the challenges that come with that. You’re a confident communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders in the right way. You’re empathetic and curious towards consumer behaviour and work well with the wider team to learn and test great ideas. IF all that wasn’t enough, you’re also – 

  • An analytical thinker who can prioritise and work with multiple priorities
  • Experience of working on marketing projects such as changing packaging artwork & supporting the creation and launch of new products.
  • Some consumer behaviour understanding and familiar with insight / data tools such as Nielsen & Kantar.
  • Understanding of the UK retail environment including promotional tools instore.
