PURPOSE & IMPACT: This role is known for providing excellent insight for both our Cluster teams and Group Sales. They will lead the Cluster Insight team, developing strong partnership within each of the 6 regional Clusters through first class local consumer and market understanding. Providing a strong link to the Central team and enabling effective landing of key tools/approaches (e.g. Brand Equity, Demand Spaces) into the Clusters. Leading the delivery of the monthly Performance Review for the Exec team.
We need someone who has excellent insight development skills, managing a variety of inputs to create clear, compelling narratives. Excellent stakeholder management and networking through understanding needs across the Cluster teams and enabling strong delivery against them. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with multiple groups, including Exec and Cluster leadership teams. This person is a connector, providing a strong and seamless link between the Centre of Expertise and Cluster Teams. Talent and team leadership skills are critical to ensure strong impact.
Insight & Analysis
Identifies and leads opportunities to land actionable insights with the business. Proactively seeking growth opportunities, understanding Cluster needs to develop insights and recommendations. Uses a range of approaches to address business questions. Scope includes Monthly Exec Review and all key Cluster issues and opportunities, including Local Must Win Battles & Growth Platforms.
Team Management
Leads a team of Cluster Insight Managers, creating a strong team within the overall Insights team, managing their performance and development through constant coaching, mentoring, personal and career development. Plays a leadership role within the Insights team.
Consumer Closeness
Leads team to deliver against Consumer Closeness ambition, driving Cluster teams to actively use the Consumer Closeness toolkit to improve their plans and engender a cultural shift towards a consumer-centric organisation. Ensure understanding local consumers is elevated into Central teams to embed into the development of their plans.
Land Key Initiatives
Ensure key initiatives led by Central Team are reflective of local needs to enable effective embedding in the Clusters. Leads the strong local adoption of these initiatives, e.g. Market Mix Modelling, Brand Equity, Demand Spaces.
Partner Group Sales
Provides strong partnership with Group Sales, ensuring their insight & analytics needs are effectively met by the team. Strong stakeholder management and development of tools, projects and analysis required for business needs, understanding where Central and Local leadership is required.
