Reporting into the Head of Reporting & Data Engineering, you will be focused on the data engineering part to manage our data across our SAP estate and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enable accurate and timely reporting and insight across Nomad Foods.

You will develop skills in SAP Datasphere to ensure we are using this technology to its limits and also developing in BW/4HANA. You will need to learn and understand GCP and the environment we have in place so that we are getting the best out of SAP and GCP working together.

You will gather the requirements for any additions or changes needed to data requirements ensuring that the solution fits in with the agreed way the Central Data Team wants the data and reporting solution to be.

In order to deliver certain projects, this role is required to build effective relationships with 3^rd parties / contractors so that the team can be augmented to ensure smooth delivery.

• Working in the team to push the use of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SAP datasphere and to maintain BW4HANA
• Partnering with the IT Service Partner to develop the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), to move to a single version of truth
• Ensuring consolidation of data sources (internal & external) in the EDP, built around SAP Datasphere and GCP
• Identifying any data sources that could be useful when doing insight
• Working closely with the Commercial Insight Team and any other areas doing insight
• Working with the Data Governance & Master Data Team to highlight any data concerns such as with exporting of data, using wrong definitions, security, etc.
• Working with the IT Service Partner to ensure that all EDP production runs complete successfully, and any issues are dealt with the right priority set and suitable communication to the business provided
• Working with the IT Service Partner to ensure that the Data Model is delivering the data required by the business
• Optimising data structures for performance
• Developing and maintaining development standards in conjunction with the IT Service Partner
• Testing any new or changed data items
• Identifying and testing any upgrades to software

• Experience of working with third party delivery organisations
• Hands on experience of building analytics in SAP BW/4HANA
• Experience of working with various SAP systems, such as ECC, S/4HANA, C4C, SuccessFactors, etc. as sources for analytics platforms
• FMCG / CPG experience
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere including data modelling
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
