Overview

This role is known for the efficient management of the Innovation planning and MoB in all of the MU’s including the Innovation Portfolio management in alignment with Marketing and caring of all Supply Chain aspects which need to be reflected in the portfolio strategy. This role will ensure the most efficient and effective Innos management solutions are implemented and maintain a focus on cost, service and cash.

Agile and collaborative leader who actively connects and builds networks across markets, functions and COEs, challenging the team to evolve and clarify their current culture and ways of working.

 

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Responsible for translating Product Innovation needs into successful projects, driving efficient and effective delivery of Supply Chain actions and activity through effective delivery and coordination. Ensures all Supply Chain aspects (network, strategy, complexity, capabilities) are reflective in the portfolio strategy. Monitors portfolio healthiness in terms of number of products in/out, critical volumes, technical aspects, supporting and promoting tools development for portfolio management. Manages the definition and evolution of the portfolio in support with Marketing to drive portfolio decisions. Lead the MoB process.

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Leads on Innovation projects, ensuring the relevant Supply Chain inputs are available and Supply Chain functions are prepared for deployment & implementation within an agreed time plan, driving innovation process E2E until launch. Accountable for gathering input on Supply Chain aspects on all project stages including sourcing (MoB or MoM), procurement, capabilities, capacity and investments.

 

SUPPLY CHAIN COMPLIANCE

Acts as the primary interface between Commercial, RDQ, Finance and Supply Chain to coordinate phase in and phase out activities, minimising Supply Chain losses (RM/PM/FG residuals) in compliance with trade windows (Retail) and contracts (FS). Direct all supply chain policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of Innovation management from a Supply Chain perspective.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Innovation Planning within a similar organisation
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain leadership role
  • Evidence of developing and implementing strategy
  • Experience of leading a multi-site, multi-function teams
