Overview

As a core member of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, you will ensure that projects deliver in accordance with portfolio and project management standards from portfolio approval to start-up, implementation, handover and closure.

  • Own and deliver PMO processes such as onboarding, resourcing, planning, reporting, budgeting, gate approvals, benefits realisation, training and closure.
  • Ensure that PMO services are delivered in a timely, purposeful, compliant way.
  • Take the lead on continuous improvement. Deliver training up to executive level.
  • Act as a ‘good governance’ ambassador with other project partners such as IT, Finance, HR, Change, Internal Controls and local PMO offices. Drive adoption of standards and raise awareness across project, change, value and brand networks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver PMO services including planning, resourcing, reporting and ‘methods’.
  • Continuously improve PMO processes, tool-kits and user experiences.
  • Support annual portfolio preparation, planning and prioritisation activities.
  • Ensure projects align visions and outcomes with Nomad’s strategic priorities.
  • Guide project teams through the multi-forum, stage gate approvals process.
  • Train on PMO standards and practices incl. project controls and risk frameworks.
  • Remove legacy PMO standards and practices from use across the business.

Qualifications

You will join a small team that continues to grow in size and responsibility. We provide portfolio and project support services to enterprise functions including Technology, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and Real Estate – with engagement across all regional clusters and countries.

You will join at an exciting time as the PMO team strengthens and embeds its ways of working, governance assurance activities and support tools – to gain efficiencies of scale with an ambitious eye on portfolio and project excellence in the near-future.

  • 5+ years Lead experience either in: ‘Dedicated’ Portfolio role or, ‘Combined’ Portfolio* and Project roles (*minimum of 2 years).
  • Held the Lead role in an Enterprise PMO (IT and business projects).
  • Built the service offering of a Portfolio Office from ‘brilliant service basics’ to a ‘scale and efficiency’ function.
