As a Buyer you'll source the best quality Fish from around the world, manager supplier relationships and create value for Nomad Foods and our customers.

You will lead your team to develop and execute advantaged long-term sourcing strategy / playbooks to deliver sustainable improvements in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation, in collaboration with the Head of Category Fish and other relevant business stakeholders.

• You will understand key cost drivers, industry trends and standard methodologies to design/implement effective sourcing strategies.
• Develop and maintain long term pricing mechanisms and long relationship strategies for fish species to drive sustainable competitive advantage.
• You will be responsible of securing the directs supply, assuring high quality standards, on-time deliveries, bench costs and ensure food safety regulations & CSR requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in an FMCG / food manufacturing procurement environment, a good understanding of purchasing contracts, cost modelling, developing sourcing strategies, excellent relationship building & negotiation skills.
Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification or would be highly advantageous.
