Overview

This role will be part of the Phoenix Transformation programme, a unique one-time transformation opportunity designed to enable Nomad Foods to deliver, and possibly exceed, its financial goals through the strategy of ‘Simplify, Standardise, Automate & Transform’.

Phoenix is a portfolio of change projects and programmes, coming together as a business-led, technology enabled transformation to be delivered over a 3-year period (2022-2025).  The portfolio is coordinated via the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC), connecting the dots across a set of Functional and Cross-Functional Workstreams.

A key Cross-Functional Workstream within the portfolio is the OCM accountable for Change, Training and Comms.

The Communications Project Manager is accountable for the planning, creation and delivery of the communications and engagement activities for a particular workstream within the wider Phoenix Programme, to build awareness, understanding and engagement amongst all relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with colleagues on the workstream, the Phoenix programme and within the Nomad Foods Communications Team, managing and developing relationships, using these contacts to gather information, build understanding, help influence and work collaboratively
  • Work with the Workstream Change Management Lead and the workstream team to identify relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) and conduct regular stakeholder analyses
  • Develop a detailed communication and engagement plan and calendar for the workstream that will drive engagement and adoption, harness advocates for change and win over those who are passive or resistant
  • Proactively update the detailed communication and engagement plan and calendar, incorporating the outputs of the various assessments (e.g. change impact, stakeholder and other assessments) as required
  • Deliver the activities in the communication and engagement plan and calendar, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the overall Phoenix communications and engagement plan and calendar
  • Create high quality communications content plus materials/collateral that bring clarity and create emotional engagement and enthusiasm from the relevant audiences
  • Ensure all materials and content are aligned with Phoenix narrative/core messages and Nomad policies, brand guidelines, standards and tone of voice etc.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications and engagement activities providing reports to the Phoenix Comms Lead and other stakeholders as required
