Since incorporation, Nomad Foods has been through a business turnaround and moved into a growth phase, both organically and through acquisition, to remain on track to deliver our 2025 investor targets.


In order to step change the performance of the finance function to support the business growth ambitions, the Finance Team is going through an exciting period of transformation over the coming few years to deliver best in class performance management and business partnering.


Working within the Group Finance Team, this is a dynamic role working cross functionally with the markets and other group functions to build, evaluate and help delivery of operational targets and longer term strategic goals of the business.


This role will manage a Team of five to six, partnering the Executive Team to deliver insight and analysis and ensure effective decision making on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.




  • Build a deep understanding of the business performance drivers to comment and challenge on performance of the business
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management reporting and forecasting processes (P&L and Cash Flow) to the Executive Committee and Nomad Board, to deliver accurate and insightful analytics to enable strategic and commercial decision making for the business, while tracking agreed plans through the business
  • Partner the Investor Relations Director to deliver investor relations materials and messaging
  • Take a leading role in the 3-year Strategic Plan and 1-year (Annual Plan) processes in conjunction with the Commercial Finance and SU Finance Teams to deliver a robust and insightful planning process to enable decision making – focussing on TSR delivery
  • Support the Group HR Director on employee reward scheme design and deployment – LTIPs and annual bonus, and manage the forecasting and cost management of those schemes for the business
  • Own the Management Reporting structures and processes to ensure alignment with Financial Reporting on any key questions that arise
  • Manage the integration of new acquisitions into the Nomad Management Accounts reporting structure to ensure a compatible reporting structure
  • Take a leading role in the finance transformation, partnering the Global Process Owner for FP&A, to ensure that the FP&A outcomes are fit for purpose and deliver a best in class FP&A process for the future of Nomad
  • Proactively initiate and engage with ad hoc business performance projects as required




  • Degree educated, and a professional accounting qualification (ACA or CIMA)
  • Experience in an equivalent role for a similarly sized UK plc or Private business
  • Strong Accountant, combined with a track record of driving business performance
  • High attention to detail and intellectual firepower, able to manage multiple complex topics
  • Personal resilience, high energy and strong organisational abilities
  • Proactive self-starter who will drive deliverables through to completion
  • Strong Team leader, able to motivate and direct people to out-perform
  • Delivering an environment of continual improvement to drive process improvement and optimisation through the functions in control


  • Exposure to SEC Listing requirements and SOX environments a distinct advantage, as is previous FMCG or Retail sector experience
  • Experience of working in a multinational matrix organisation
  • SAP knowledge
