This role forms part of the team responsible for strategy through to in-market implementation of a key growth enabler for Birds Eye. The team has responsibility for strategic pricing (including Pack Price Architecture), in-store promotional strategy and optimising Trade Terms investments with retail customers. Essentially, growing the revenue & profit pools for the Frozen categories in which Birds Eye operates and optimising Birds Eye share of it
Birds Eye UK is a £675m turnover business unit, split Birds Eye £390m as well as the newly acquired Goodfellas Pizza £160m and Aunt Bessie’s £125m businesses. As a result, the UK Net Revenue (“NRM”) team is being up-weighted and is the biggest and most profitable in the Nomad Foods Group.
The NRM team are accountable, supported by the Sales & Marketing teams, for improving price realisation, optimising trade spend and promotional effectiveness. The NRM programmes need to support the brand’s strategic direction and be consistent with our key retailer strategies for growth. Success will be defined as NRM initiatives having a demonstrable and sustainable positive impact on the P&L of the business.
We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual to work on key NRM business reporting and commercial pack / price / promo strategies, whilst leveraging close working relationships with the Sales, Marketing and commercial Finance teams. You will be part of a 6-person cross-functional cross-category NRM team.
Good career roadmaps exist for future moves into Sales, Finance, Category management or Marketing roles, in which success will rely on all strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial flair and P&L / analytical firepower.
