    To secure NF supplier base is conducting business in full compliance with all revelant national and international laws and regulations as well as NF Supplier Code of conduct regarding Human rights and Ethical behaviour and Sustainably sourcing according to selected 3rd party sustainability schemes.

     

    To secure NF Sustainability Risk Heatmap is up to date, correctly reflects the major risks and mitigation work is progressing.

    Responsibilities

    Secure NF Supplier Ethical Behaviour:

    • Responsible for maintaining NF supplier base in Sedex incl registration, cleaning and removal. Typical KPI:
      • % of suppliers registerad in Sedex, linked to NF with completed SAQs
    • Responsible for assessing and recommending actions related to NF supplier base:
      • Define, evaluate and evolve risk criteria regularly
      • Assess suppliers using SAQs, ethical audits etc, both prior to suppliers being approved and during the duration of them supplying NF
      • Recommend initial actions based on risk assessment
    • Responsbible for developing and leading implementation of risk mitigation plans to close non-compliances or gaps
    • TBD: Conduct ethical audits OR Recommend Suppliers to have an Ethical audit (but not conduct them) OR Both

    Secure NF Sustainablity Risk Heatmap:

    • Responsible for maintaining NF Risk Heatmap
    • Secure changes are communicated to and signed off by the SSC

    Appointed Risk owner for certain risks, responsible for developing mitigation plans and securing progress to close risks

    Responible for aligning with other Risk owners to secure mitigation plans are in place and progressing
    Evaluate and evolve ways of working regularly

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Previous Experience

     

    Essential

    • Previous experience of assessing Ethical risks in a supply chain
    • Previous experience of developing and implementing Ethical risk mitigation plans

    Desirable

    • Relevant degree/further studies
    • Relevant experience in food quality, technical roles desirable.
    • Previous experience of working with Sedex or a similar system
    • Previous experience of assessing SMETA Audits

    Knowledge & Skills

     

    Essential

    • Basic understanding of UN Global compact
    • Basic understanding of ETI
    • Clear communication skills
    • Project management skills

    Desirable

    • Deeper knowledge of Human rights risk in food supply
