  • Overview

    To assist the Commercial Finance team in providing accurate and timely advice to the UK Sales teams (Sales and Marketing) and ensure appropriate financial controls are implemented.


    • Promotion administration – liaise with UK sales team to ensure that all pricing is submitted in an accurate and timely manner. Hold weekly reviews where appropriate to identify and resolve problem area(s)
    • Provide accurate and timely financial performance data to the UK commercial team and Group Finance (weekly sales data to sales team and Group Finance, daily orders template to Group Finance. 
    • Investigate variances to Plan and provide commentary.
    • Management of promotional rebates – Ensure all promotional rebates are created in a timely manner, reconciled monthly and authorised in accordance with Company policy
    • Claims Management – Report on level of outstanding customer claims and work with commercial teams to resolve issues within an agreed timeframe
    • Assist in the training of all new Account Managers in Commercial Finance procedures and Sap / BW systems



    • Recognised Finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA)
    • Recently qualified (or close to qualifying)
    • Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Attention to detail
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Strong team player
    • Good time management
    • Flexible on travel ( requirement to visit Head office for training / team meetings)




    • Business related degree
    • Experience of working in an FMCG environment


    • SAP knowledge
    • Financial knowledge
    • Commercial knowledge / Acumen
