    Working as part of the Nomad Insights team the purpose of this role is to provide business insights to the UK based on shopper/consumer understanding and market performance. You will work closely with the Birds Eye UK Insight Manager and the wider group insight team to champion the Nomad Growth model, ensure consumer and shopper are at the heart of everything we do and provide actionable insights to drive business growth.

    Support in driving growth of the UK must win battles of Roast Dinner and Pizza. Working with the UK Lead Insights Manager on ad-hoc projects in the development and validation of innovation, advertising, communication and brand health.

    Responsibilities

    • Be the voice of the shopper/consumer within the Goodfellas and Aunt Bessie’s business’ and influence senior stakeholders to ensure that our shopper/consumer is at the centre of decision making
    • Be the co-pilot for the commercial teams by championing the Nomad growth model to ensure the right business decisions are made
    • To develop great relationships with key stakeholders and cross functional partners (marketing, sales, category, net revenue and finance teams)
    • Responsible for market data analysis providing interpretation and assessment on market performance and provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
    • To communicate to the broader organisation short and long term consumer and market insights and provide strategic information and insight to influence long term future business growth
    • To monitor and report on all NPD and advertising activities against KPIs and make action focussed business recommendations to key stakeholders
    • Effectively manage relationships with external continuous agencies to ensure best quality of output and maximise ROI. (Nielsen, Kantar and IPSOS)
    • Develop & manage regular reporting with agency partners to provide understanding of Aunt Bessie’s & Goodfellas core categories, the brand and our competitors to the wider business
    • To effectively manage monthly coding and database management issues jointly with category development team.
    • To integrate and connect insights across relevant data and research sources and apply to business issues/thinking and influence a change in thinking, planning and execution with the broader UK teams (sales, category, net revenue and marketing)
    • Work with the Lead Insight Manager to co-develop and support in delivery of an annual research learning plan for the Aunt Bessie's & Goodfella's Must Win Battles

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 years in Market Insights, marketing or category development role
    • Experience working with continuous MR agencies i.e. retail scanning, consumer panel, subscription
    • Good commercial awareness
    • FMCG Manufacturer, Retailer or Agency background required
    • Experience of working with remote stakeholders
