    This key newly created role will have responsibility for managing spend (c. €25m) across the HR, Travel, Fleet and non-strategic IT categories (mobiles, printers & teleconference).  You will also manage the external service provider contract who provide procurement category management services (IT, Marketing and Professional Services).

    Responsibilities

    • Newly created group role to manage HR, Travel, Fleet and non-strategic IT
    • services (MFD’s and telecommunications) categories
    • The role is European based operating across all Nomads offices and factories
    • Travel is required to engage with stakeholders and understand business
    • requirements

    Responsibilities

    • To manage the Nomad Group HR, Travel Fleet and non-strategic IT categories
    • with an approx annual spend of circa €25m subject to M&A
    • Own and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned to business needs and
    • objectives
    • Manages and develops supplier relationships that deliver value across quality,
    • service, innovation and cost
    • Provides and demonstrates the level of Procurement / technical category
    • expertise to drive the group HR, Travel & Fleet sourcing and agenda
    • Own and maintain key stakeholder relationships at all levels
    • Assist HoC in ensuring the Procurement team deliver on-time & in-full versus
    • functional & business objectives
    • Provide end to end Procurement process and best practice or advice and
    • support depending on stakeholder needs
    • Drive the implementation of the NFE HR, travel tool and fleet contracts on
    • newly acquired businesses / sites in appropriate way

    Specific category information


    Travel

    • Support HR with the contract management of the NFE travel provider
    • Benchmark fees with external market providers
    • Extract usage reports and make recommendations to NFE to improve efficiency
    • and effectiveness of the tool e.g. increase on line bookings
    • Extract monthly non-conformance reports making recommendations and share
    • with Group HR director
    • Negotiating NFE preferred rates with hotels and car hire providers
    • Track and support use of NFE air miles with long distance flights

    Fleet

    • Continue the provider, make and model consolidation programme
    • Support HR with the contract management of the NFE fleet provider
    • Leverage NFE’s size and scale with best commercial and end user effect
    • Review contract terms and commercial structure of fleet contract using
    • experience and external benchmarks to enable facts to negotiate improved
    • commercials on behalf of Nomad

    HR (Recruitment and Payroll)

    • Support HR with the updating of NFE standard recruitment T&C’s where
    • required
    • Support HR with the management of NFE temp labour contracts across the
    • factories
    • Support HR with the management of temp and perm payroll supplier contracts
    • Non-Strategic IT
    • Support IT team with the commercial and contract management of MFD’s
    • (printers) and telecommunications (Mobile phone) contracts
    • Gain visibility of group spend and leverage onto the supply market where
    • possible
    • Leverage value from the supply market for same or improved commercials

    Qualifications

    Candidates will be degree and ideally CIPs qualified (or hold Membership).  You will have 3-5 years’ experience working in a Procurement function preferably with previous experience of managing HR, Professional Services and Travel & Fleet categories at group level.   FMCG experience would also be highly desirable.

     

    You will need to demonstrate the successful implementation of strategic sourcing plans and be able to provide evidence of the delivery of tangible benefits in quality, service, innovation and cost savings.

     

    Previous European experience and language skills especially Italian/German would be an advantage.
